Every legal cannabis product comes wrapped in child-resistant packaging – and once it is empty, most of it is not accepted in the regular blue bin. That is why there is a purple bin by our front window.

Bring back your empty bags, containers, tubes and 510 cartridges and drop them in. The bin is part of the Purple Hills Centre program, and everything collected is sorted and processed so cannabis packaging stays out of the landfill.

No receipt needed, no purchase required – if it is cannabis packaging, we will take it. Ask at the counter if you are not sure whether something qualifies.

It is a small habit that adds up: one jar at a time, Keswick keeps a little more out of the ground.
